Dear friends, you may have noticed that it has been quit up here. Some of you know that have been in hospital doing Video telemetry for Jessoca’ s epilepsy.
Well trouble struck for me the following Monday when we attended St. Vincent’s hospital. I HAD A SECIZURE ON THE BUS coming in to the appointment and then had a headach focused on mt left occipital lobe and was seeind double. I WENT TO EMERGENCY as if one visit wasn’t enough- spent the entire day fom 8 until 2, Had a cat scan, chest x ray, eeg, ecg, to rule out stroke and minor heart attack, then it was decided I had had a peculiar post ichtal reaction. Will be seeing my Neurogist Friday week.
It is now 5 minutes after 11 pm , I have had an inpression made for my dentures and paid the excess for the superior base which will give me opportunity to actually taste the food I eat.
My phone is too flate to abstract its phots, as is the phone which is making me more than annoyed. I hope to return to my regular postings soon.
Also to the Parish one which have suffered just as woefully as this one.
Caught the 0654 bus into Darlinghurst to attend the clinic at St. Vincents hospital and on route had my foot run over by jessica’s wheelchair care of the very non-intelligent university students who left no room for me to exit the space. And who seemed, when requested to debus so that the 1/4 tonne chair might exit the bus, to have the concept that said wheel chair was going to fold its self up and tiptoe past their outstretched feet.
In the process my foot was run over right to the ankle leaving me crippled and them – our future leaders still without any comprehension as to the logistics that 1/4 tonne, 600 mm. wheelchair will not fit into 300 mm width of space.
I am in abject despair, + one broken toe, that people are just so stupid,” Excuse me, can you please make way for a wheel chair that needs to exit the bus” – this after the wheelchair bell has been pressed – it has a different tone. No one moves, except to stand on their tiptoes, ‘no folk unless you all want broken feet you will need to exit the bus and then enter it again – don’t worry the driver won’t leave you behind.’.
Next time run over their feet? We may need to, to help them understand what a 1/4 tonne of steal feels like.
Yes, I am a Minister of religion but I do not see that i should allow my wife to be humiliated and to fight for her rights to use the wheelchair seats and ramps on public transport because people are so ignorant, can not think..
This area where we live has many people with Spinal Cord Injuries and wheelchairs are not alien space ships occasionally visiting the local bus routes. It might be you or them one day so use the brain God gave you before you lose it. 300/600 only leaves 1/2 the amount of room required because the other 300mm are occupied by tippy toes.

When you feel so lonely and can’t sleep at night,
because everything gives you a fright.
The pain and the sadness takes control,
and once again you’re all alone.
