I know I have mentioned this before – re all of the falls and double vision I am experiencing. They began reoccurring May 2017 when I went away on a Parish Weekend. I had had injections to prevent the Migraines that usually kick start the events, these had worked until then.
The events were sporadic until just recently when they became more frequent and longer in duration.
There was one on 28th July at the Sydney dental Hospital, again on the 3rd August followed by another on 5th. This last event happened in Centennial Park.
Passers by carried me to the road side to wait for our usual Wheelchair Taxi – we went firstly to the Medical Centre in Maroubra where they discovered a small anomaly in my heart and sent me to POW emergency department. I was there for the remainder of the day, until about 7 pm. This time I was very fortunate to have a SMO who knew what I was describing and sought information from the Epilepsy Clinic who suggested a second opinion.
My bloods were unremarkable other than a high calcium level and the Cat Scan showed that the fissure was unchanged from 2017, with some healed haematoma I didn’t know I had had. bloods were unremarkable other than a high calcium level and the Cat Scan showed that the fissure was unchanged from 2017, with some healed haematoma I didn’t know I had had. This morning I had a had a Lamotrigine level measured to see whether it is doing anything or is toxic.
I heard from my Neurologist ths afternoon who is quite happy for me to see another for the second oppinion.
After a call from ACAT,it may be that I might get a mobility scooter.
