In the power of the Spirit in us

Our Patroness

Our Patroness
St. Maria of Jesus Crucified – Saint Palestinian

We try to live our lives in a spirit of gratitude for participation in the one priesthood of Jesus Christ. We are glad that the Lord is near and that watches over us.
May He brightens his face on anyone who would look here.
With the memory of the Lord,
Father. Adam

Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when  the kingdom of God will come, he answered them: The kingdom of God cometh not with observation; and they do not say: Lo, here is either: There. For behold, the kingdom of God is among you. To the students he said: The time will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see. They will tell you: Here or there: Here here. Do not go there and not Run for them. For as the lightning flashes and shines from one end of the horizon to the other, so will the Son of man be in his day. But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

Many people are easily excited about apocalyptic visions. I happen to talk to some whose faces are flushed with talk about the signs of the end of the world. How much you have to prepare? The sacred fire, special matches, special prayers and the best preventative measures to guard against unwelcomed consequences. Meanwhile, Jesus says very clearly: the Kingdom of God is among you. Where man opens himself to God’s love, there comes his reign. I do not need special resolutions, because without Christ is Lord. The need for human decision: accept Jesus, I find in him their Savior and King. And since it can change a lot. We need not, therefore, look for signs and lightning. What is most important to us ‘+’ Father. Adam

    • Hello and good evening Robert, this is the second nomination I have received from you this year and I am so very humbled to receive them. I have not had the time to comply with the earlier one. I am so busy with my alter personas, Fr Caper and Br Celano to have time to do much but reblog others’ posts here and it is to them that I am indebted for the variety and mystery of this blog. I am curious enough, however to come over for a look. Br Andrew EFo

      • No and yes – a persona are the different presentations we are as people in our various capacities. As a husband I have one face to the world and as a Religious or Ordained person they are both different. Br Celano – named for Thomas of Celano is the blog Persona for the blue Mountain Franciscan Church, while Fr Casper Spiritus is that for the Community of Christ our Hope – he really belongs to the Curate there who, as the profile rightfully sates, is rather ill -one day soon I shall have to send casper home with some lessons on how to keep up his good work.

      • Ok!
Ok, Jungian or Psychodynamic forms of mind imagery are used to visualise the healthy Mind and its parts that create the Self. EGO,ALTER EGO,SHADOW,PERSONAL UNCONSCIOUS, UNIVERSAL UNCONSCIOUS AND THE SUB CONSCIOUS. COVERING WHAT EVER DISPARATE CONNECTEDNESS AND PLACING A MASQUE OR PUBLIC FACE (Persona) IS HOW WE HOLD EVERYTHING IN PLACE. As semi integrated beings we have our working Face Masque, as we are, say as a Highly successful writer or artist during interview. There is the persona we adopt when dealing with authority, or as teachers. Take time to notice your demeanor as you deal with the different roles you hold and the Face of You you present.

Personas are also aliases or other usess we use when we have to separate very different roles in our lives.
The saying ” Put on a brave face” is an example of the way we moderate our behaviors with the conscious decision to behave in a certain socially acceptable way, despite our DID OR BIPOLAR OR SCHIZOIDAL TENDENCIES.

PERSONAS, MASQUES, FACES can be healthy and unhealthy ways of dealing with circumstances especially where Mental did- ease exists.
